I have tried 5 times now to get Profit Ui to work. I have followed the instructions to the letter. I run Profit Ui as administrator and it wants to launch the game as if I have nevered played before (played for some time now ). I log in as usual and nothing is there...I /loadui and some changes occur but not Profit UI. I did use the Load ui option when asked.
What in the world is wrong here pls.
I have 64 bit vista machine and yes Java is updated.

It sounds like you might have more than one instance of the game installed. Right click your eq2 icon on your desktop and choose properties. In the box for target it should show the path to your eq2 file...might be named launcher.exe, eq2.exe, everquest2.exe etc. Make sure the target path (all but the file ending in exe) is the same there as it is in the profitui updater under Settings...File Paths....Everquest II - Folder.

Yes, profit is targeting something completely different.
How do I change the target for Profit pls

Click on choose off to the right of the box with the file path in it.

ok in Profit Ui Reborn Updater Properties:
Target Location: SysWOW64
Target: .................................. unidentifiable really
I really have no option to choose off..no box..etc

when you click choose in the updater screen you should be able to enter a path. Unless you changed it the default path since SF for eq2 is:

C:\ProgramData\Sony Online Entertainment\Installed Games\EverQuest II

cut and past that into the box. I am attaching a picture as well.

Ok, finally looked at what you were talking about and yes the path is correct.
The updater keeps launching my EQ2 game as if I have never played before..like wanting me to create my character.
Just dont get this..why it does not work when I launch game.

Are you able to play as your character or do you have to log out and log in a different way to play as your character?

BTW No problem at all...just want to get you up and running.
