wont open eq2
 

I get the message. *there was a error trying to launch ev1, please open eq2 manually.* when i open it manually, none of the maps are there. ive tried re-installing and dunno what it is.

Your install is probably pointed to EQ2 in the wrong folder. Verify that the Everquest2.exe path in options is the same as the path from the shortcut you use to play EQ2.

And then send hate mail to SOE for thinking that a hidden ProgramData directory would be a better place to install EQ2 than Program Files.

If you want to send hate mails send them to Microsoft (although IMO Microsoft is doing the right thing)

Yeah it's not really Microsoft's fault that no one cooperates and structures their programs how they want them to, hehe.
