Different UI's per Character

The question i have is a probably very easy to answer but i have not be able to figure it out. Both my roomate and i have eq2 with station ID's but we only have one computer. I was wondering if it is possible to make it so that we can both have our own customized UI's instead of having to share one UI.

Remeber, when you die, embrace death and die with diginity and a SMILE. For death is your friend and you always return to him.

Currently the only way to do it is to either change the INI file each time you switch who is playing, or have TWO eq2 folders and have them set for different UIs.

Ok here is the really basic version of what i use.

1. Make 2 copies of your eq2.ini file in your eq directory.
A) modify each file with your personal character settings pointing to the appropriate place to find each specific UI directory and name them accordingly. (Player1.ini and Player2.ini) See How to guide for specifics
2. Make 2 batch files
A)Player1.bat
copy player1.ini to eq2.ini
everquest2.exe
B)Player2.bat
copy player2.ini to eq2.ini
everquest2.exe
3. Pick a file and run it :-)

This is a great idea. But I think if you want the same UI and just modify certain aspects then you can use the same folders. Just copy, move or rename certain files. Like the files that contain the click cures. Whatever they are. Switching tunes from a Wizzy to a Healer would load the right cures.

:)
