pet stats
 

currently if a necro or conjurer such as myself wants to view our pet's stats we have to use possess minion and then pull up the persona window. But the spell only lasts 30 seconds and its hard to mouse over everything (avoidance, mitigation, ability stats etc) before the spell wears off. So I was wondering if there's any mods that let you view pet stats at any time you want. I searched around the downloads with no luck so far. I'm kinda doubting that there is seeing as it involves an in game spell mechanic sort of thing but just wanted to check.

I've never specifically looked for it, but to my knowledge the dynamic data for all the stats of a pet do not exist. The reason you get all those stats when possessing the minion is because it's using the player dynamic data, and during possession the pet is the player.

Having an (admittedly low-level alt) pet character, all that data would be great to easily access but I do not know of any dynamicdata to look. You can check in eq2ui_dynamicdata.xml and see if there's anything pet-related that you'd like in there. Whatever isn't available there I would put a /feedback in and request data for.

Thank you for the response. I'll follow your suggestion and search that xml file and hope that one day SOE makes it to where a simple pet stat window could be implemented. :)
