ProfitUI will not Uninstall
 

I installed the ProfitUI and it isn't my thing. Now it won't go away lol.

I've tried to uninstall it and I cannot get it to go away:
- I cannot find the eq2.ini
- I uninstalled and reinstalled the game
- I deleted both my Sony and my Sony Online Entertainment files
- I uninstalled the updater from my computer

I don't know what else to do. I don't want to wait for the entire game to re-install again, and I'm assuming there HAS to be a way to get rid of this UI.

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit (6.1, Build 7600)

Game Location: C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest II

If you're still seeing ProfitUI in game, then you definitely still have an EQ2.ini.

My guess is you deleted a different install of EQ2 from the one you actually use to play. If you're using the newer patcher, they do NOT install into program files by default. Look at the shortcut that you use to play the game to find out where your copy is actually installed.

You... were right haha. It was saving in ProgramData as opposed to Program Files; PD wasn't even initially visible.

Glad to help. This is a problem we see a lot since they switched from Program Files to other directories.

I don't know how it could have done anything to your game. I have been using Profit for years and have never had any trouble with it. The only thing that I constantly worry about is someone always keeping it current.

I know that it must be a huge amount of work and I would like to say thanks to all that have worked on Profit over the years. You all deserve a pat on the back many times over.
