Group window missing
 

Well, I've been having problems with the group window for the last week or two, but not before. I run Profit Reborn UI and the auto-updater. This has never been a problem for me before, but now I can't get it to open at all, no matter which keys I'm trying to use. I hit Alt+G and get nothing. SO, I tried hitting F10 and then Alt+G and it showed my group window. However, I can hardly play the game with all my windows blacked out in the background. When I turn off F10 even though the group window shows, there is NO group window in normal view. I've tried removing profits group window, installing different group window mods, uninstalling it completely, and even have a petition into Sony, but I'm getting NO GROUP WINDOW....Now I can't even get it in F10 anymore, so i don't know what's going on. Any suggestions?

Slider
 

There is a slider that shows where the group window is located, you access it through the Profit UI Startbutton. Use that slider and I'm sure your problems will be solved. Just click the Options Icon on the Profit UI Startbar to get to the slider. Good Journeys ~Xant~

I have had this problem on occasion working with other mods and some of my own.

When you run auto launcher goto settings and check the ignored file list. If you have ignored any of the files uncheck them one at a time until you find the culprit.

You can also check to see where your ini file is pointing(should be profit if that is what you are using).

However that being said, you should at least be able to see the default window. Worse case scenario reinstall. Go extremely slow with your addons and you may find the culprit. I have had a few cases where an unrelated item broke another window, although it is rare.

that slider isn't for where the group window is located it is for opacity. Meaning the background darkness. I can't recall the command to set the window to a location seeable on screen but maybe gm9 or silat can be nice and post the showwindow string for pasting into the script window.

Thanks gusys! I did all that you both suggested, checking the files, etc...THEN I looked at the Profit Options Box and saw that the slider was, indeed, set to zero. I slid it all the way up 100 and the window reappeared completely. Thanks so much for your help!
