Dissapearing UI in Windows 7
 

I recently upgraded to Windows 7 and now when I switch from Full Screen to windowed mode in the game the entire UI vanishes.

This is if I am using "performance" or "raid" display settings, the other two higher quality settings work fine, but I take a bigger performance hit than I like in those modes.

I'm guessing that since it works in some modes but not in others, that there is some video setting in those presets that is causing the issue. Does anyone have a clue as to what it might be?

Just solved this today (maybe). If your eq2.ini file has the r_aa_blit (somethingsomething) line un-commented , put the # symbol back in front of it.

Thanks, I'll test that too, but I found another possible fix myself.

I just had to enable "Heat Shimmer" under Atmospheric Effects and it fixed it for me.
