Individual maps
 

Is there by any chance, a way to download indiviual maps, not the whole package?

I'm mainly interested in the maps not in the game from SOE's side, like the Qeynos and Freeport sewers, Wailing Caves, etc. The PoI hell of most the eq2map maps isn't really my thing.

If you just want the POI's removed, you can go into your UI/<ui name>/POI directory and delete the contents. I've been doing this every time I update to remove the clutter... it's the only easy fix I know, but I'd still love an option to only download the maps and not POI's.

Yep, you can just delete the POI files for individual maps, however keep in mind that the autoupdater will try to replace them each time.

Or, just use the in-game POI filter and turn all the POIs off. Thats what I do when I want to see just the map and not all the POIs.

If you don't like the POI's all you need to do is filter them out.
Right click the big map.

The main reason I clear out the POI folder instead of just using the filter is I like to have my own POI's that I entered still show.
