Vista profit problems
 

i try to download it and i do, but when i try to launch it tells me "can not find EverQuest2.exe, check settings and file paths" but i don't know what to do. when i installed eq2 this morning i had to call soe and had to create a new folder on my C drive for it to work...seems to be a vista problem:mad:

how did u install eq2 via launcher ?

did you try this? I had this issue before and this is what worked for me. If that doesn't work - try installing the profit updater again.

Settings -> Updater -> Reset all settings

OK i have vista 64, im not a compete noob on installing UI's but im not great at it either. I've had profit installed before but this time i cannot seem to get the installer to work. Last time i believe profit was just a manual download and now the installer page is telling me to approve the installer for administrator but no screen comes up to approve it. The updater screen pops up and when i hit ok at the bottom it tells me of course... "You need admin rights" to do this.

You need to either turn off UAC or run the updater as Adminstrator. Right click the updater shortcut and then run as adminstrator.

If its saying you need admin rights to install the updater then you need to login to an account that has adminstrator rights.
