Black Map
 

For months I have a black map. The only thing I see are POIs but that's it. How can this be fixed?

Most likely due to a bad uisettings file.

I suggest opening your <Server>_<Character>_eq2_uisettings.xml character and search for Map2_clone_2. If you find that, delete everything from <Window Name="Map2_clone_2" down through the corresponding </Window> command.

I'm having this problem also but the background is light blue for some reason. I tried this fix but didn't find "Map2_clone_2" in any of my toons uisettings files. Any other suggestions? I've tried uninstalling and theninstalling again.


Also.. I'm not using fetish and I'm running XP if that matters.

The Light blue issue is a problem caused by a recent patch from SOE. On test it is supposed to be fixed. So just wait and it should go away when they patch it in.
