Problems With Profit Ui reborn and map updater

Both me and my partner Play eq. Mine runs off profit reborn and had done for some time and map updater and both run fine on my account.

My partner was using in game map and ui, i have since installed profit ui and eq2 map updater. neither seam to bhe working right.
While in game the ui can be set up using the /loadui option but it shows nothing in guild events and the guild is at the wrong level on his Ui. The guild atm is at 25 but on his ui its stating 20.

I have tried reinstalling Profit ui several times but it has no effect. when you first load in it is still shows the original ui.

hope this makes some sence any help would be welcomed.

Please help as mine is fine but my partners is buged for some reason

Just follow the respective installation instructions.

hi

I have followed the instellation instuctions to the t three times over but each time when the game starts up the ui is always the orginal in game ui and I have to do the whole /Loadui etc on every character loged into and on all accounts.

There is also no shortcut for the ui or the map updater on the desktop and no matter how many times I have installed and updated it fails to work.
When I first installed it worked for a short time then began to reset to the orignal in game UI

Could it be an in game setting that always puts it on to the in game ui rather than the Profit ui, or do I need to remove all the profit ui stuff from the eq2 folder and start from scratch?

Any help would be good. It is getting rather fustrating for both of us.

Thanks

while re-installing, are you also deleting all character files along with it? Like the server_charactername_uisettings.xml? Also delete the EQ2.ini and get a nice fresh one when you update Profit.

Personally, when I'm having trouble, I just delete the entire UI folder, as well as any character files in the root EQ2 folder. Run the game once to re-download the default stuff and quit out, install/update Profit. Pretty much always works fine after that.

Which UI the game starts with is defined by the file eq2.ini in your eq2 folder. Both the ProfitUI updater and the EQ2MAP updater will create this file and make sure it is correct if necessary. So if you do not have the file or it is incorrect you must have configured the wrong eq2 folder in both updaters (or something more fancy, like having the file write protected and on the ignore list of the ProfitUI updater).

PS: The rest of your issues are caused by using /loadui.

I am running Profit Reborn and have been having issues since the last update with my Station Launcher showing on my screen. The Station Launcher icon will appear on my windows hot bar yet will not display on my screen.

I believe that this problem is related to the fact that according to the Eqmap updater, I have the file <skinnable_windowmini.xlm> (I think that is right) on my ignore list. I have gotten the update for the profit with the same file name, however this has not solved the issues.

Anyone know what I am referring to or how to solve this probelm? I am not able to locate any other ignore lists other than my Profit updater ignore list and that is empty.

Any help would be aapreciated,

Profit has absolutely no impact on the station launcher. That error would be completely unrelated to any ui. As for the file on the ignorelist it is to make the minimap match profit instead of having the big clock on the corner like the default one does.
