EQ2 map updater issues
 

Hi,

I downloaded your client and when I selected the EQ2.exe file (both in the EQ2 directory and the station launcher exe) I got an error for it and then the program gave me these lines to copy to the forums:

Error Opening Database File: mscorlib
at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath)
at System.IO.Directory.InternalCreateDirectory(String fullPath, String path, DirectorySecurity dirSecurity)
at System.IO.Directory.CreateDirectory(String path, DirectorySecurity directorySecurity)
at EQ2MAPUpdater.MainWindow.DownloadUpdates()Access to the path 'C:\Program Files (x86)\EQ2MAP Updater\cache\' is denied.

I am running Vista 64 bit with Service Pack 2

Read the very first issue in the READ FIRST: Common Problems thread. You need to run the updater as an administrator.
