Any mod like Clique
 

just curious if such a thing exists for eq2, is a wow mod called clique

Based on a quick perusal of that link... this mod looks like a lot like EQ2's custom macro system.

Just open the macro window and you can create a macro that will cast things or do any number of other things (essentially almost anything you can do via a / command). The major limitation is that you cannot insert a pause. But you can do many things, and then just drag the macro onto a hotbar.


If you're looking for something that does something else, please state specifically what you are looking for. EQ2's UI is very different from the UI in that other game and mods (and even ideas) don't necessarily translate well.

basically i want to be able to hover my mouse over a grp member and be able to hit one of my mouse buttons and have a healing spell cast on that grp member. with clique u can assign whatever spells u want to your different mouse buttons, hover over a grp member and click the appropriate mouse button to heal them. Is there any way i could achieve this?

Basically custom key/mouse binds via the in-game UI are impossible to do. There's no way to define a key in the scripting (because there's really not any scripting outside of math-based functions).

1 dirty way

place your ability to use on one of your hotbars
go to options - control - quickbuttons
find the spot the ability sits on your hotbar
click <empty> press mousebutton
OK (close options)

be happy with ;)

Ah yes, as far as hotbars go (and considering you can bind all 10 bars now) definitely take advantage of that.

I know I do that for Cures/Group Cures when I'm already targeting. A lot less time spent moving your hand to the mouse (if you use keyboard heavily like I do).
