Change Default Zoom Hotkeys from Mousewheel?
 

Hi, im a new player and although this isn't specifically a UI question im hoping there's someone here who can help.

Is there a way to change the default zoom in and out functions from the mousewheel to another key? I would like to map the default zoom to left and right bracket (my nostromo scroll wheel) while freeing up the mousewheel for 2 extra hotkeys.

I currently have the nostromo scroll wheel mapped to left bracket ( [ ) for up and right bracket ( ] ) for down. I was able to specify these keys in the ingame interface successfully, only they don't work with my Nostromo because the zoom in/out hotkeys have to be held down. (is it even possible to hold down a scrollwheel direction?) The keys do work on the keyboard.

I suspect this requires changing the settings in a specific file. If anyone knows more about this or could help me get started, I'd appreciate it.
