eq2map installer
Hello ,
Ok I finally have Eq2 maps working, putting in a new location of C:\Users\wil\AppData\LocalLow\Sony Online Entertainment\Installed Games\EverQuest II Streaming ( still dont understand why im installed here after doing a complete install) In the eq2 location box. But every time I log out of the game . The Eq2 maps installer Loses this location and goes back to the default location it had before of C:\Users\wil\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\76X3RVYJ\EQ2.exe How do I save the new Eq2 address in the eq2 destination box . thanks for your time in advance. |
Strange , should be saved when you close the Options window.
You could try to edit the eq2map_config.cfg file in the updater installation folder by hand to the right settings. |
ok if i need to change the config
this is what it says now .
<OptionName>EQ2Dir</OptionName> <OptionValue>C:\Users\wil\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\76X3RVYJ</OptionValue> What do I change it to , do what to mess it all up . Here is where it needs to go, C:\Users\wil\AppData\LocalLow\Sony Online Entertainment\Installed Games\EverQuest II Streaming Thanks in advance for the help |

Try save it to a new location like the desktop, and then copy and replace the file.
Make sure you run as admin. |
