Mod does not work after switching characters /sigh
Window created from Maintained window data
This is the mod I am have issues with. It is the same mod as DefilerWardWindow hosted here on eq2interface. When I switch characters and return to the character utilitzing this mod, the mod no longer functions. So, I must restart EQ2 and login to my character using the mod so it will function. Extremely annoying. There must be something minor being overlooked. I just do not know enough about all of this XML syntax and UI mod structure to fix it. /sigh Anyone able to give some advice? Arrgghhh, and apparently eq2interface does not like the free web hosting service I used to share my explanation in the link above. /cries. Everything being so difficult. Is there something bad about 100 Webspace .net free web hosting service? Actual link above is : http://orani. 100 Webspace . net / illy.html remove all of the spaces to get the URL to work. so annoying. ugh, is there a different free web hosting service I must be using? Thanks for reading and I appreciate any help. |
Free hosts are often used by spammers, which is probably why the forums were blocking direct linking there.
A quick look at the mod's page here shows that it hasn't been updated since April... if the problem started happening with a given patch then there was likely something changed in it that broke some component of that UI. With that said, that UI seems to be based off of this UI by Dragowulf: http://www.eq2interface.com/download...merWindow.html That has been updated after GU52. Since the UI you are talking about seems to be a specific implementation of that one, you might have some success in trying Dragowulf's. |
Excellent, going to checkout the Dragowulf mod as I am writing this.
Like I said, the mod mentioned previously works quite fine, shown data is correct and updated in-real time as desired, until characters are switched without restarting the game and then the mod appears deactivated, or no longer loaded. Thanks for the response and reference. Much appreciated. :):) |
Very well done lordebon. That was exactly what I needed. I tried it and very good to go.
Thanks again for the reply lordebon. :) |
Thanks lordebon. I believe that I did indeed fix that issue in the last update or two.
Sorry it took some time to reply. I've been on a pretty intense schedule lately so my activity has been minimal. I just got a new Notebook for school/gaming and have been busy understanding/updating Windows 7, but mostly uberfying it with awesome software. |
