Profit UI groupwindow with Default UI

Hi,

I would love to upgrade my default UI with Profit's groupwindow. But I had trouble so far with my attempt to install it seperately. Is there a way to use the groupwindow of Profit UI, other than using the UI as a whole?

Also: is there actually a way to deactivate the "auto afk/lfg/etc" functions which always come up whenever I click on the hp/mana bar of the small persona window?

Thanks in advance.

What functionality are you wanting from the profitUI group window? Most if not all can be found in a stand alone mod from the group window download section. There is a lot happening in the his group window that doesn't make it simple as just copying s couple files. So it might be a better option to find the functionally you seek in a stand alone mod.

Thanks. What I want mainly is the design of the compact version. Maybe along with the click to cure function. But the design alone is pretty much the only reason for me to wanne use this mod :)

Nice. :)

If starting from the full ProfitUI you keep the /images folder, all files starting with _ProfitUI, eq2ui_custom.xml and eq2ui_mainhud_groupmembers.xml most should work. Note that this will also reskin your entire UI to ProfitUI style.

Does it no longer depend on the experience window to get class selection like it used to? I managed to kludge Profit's raid and group into Thor long, long ago, and the only way it would work is if I also included the XP bar (as well as all the stuff unique to ProfitUI.) Of course now I just run Profit and kludge lots of other stuff into it, which has been much easier :)

Thanks so much! This worked perfectly fine! : D

Btw does anyone happen to know the following:
whenever I hover over my hotkeys, they get highlighted. Sometimes however, the highlight doesn't disappear once I leave the hotkey with my mouse. This is the same case with default ui, but I don't notice it that much of a difference since the highlight color isn't as obvious as with profit.

What I want to know: can this highlight somehow be disabled? Or: in what file is the highlight color saved?

Here is a pic of what I mean:

The white hovereffect on four of the hotkeys.

Usually not, it tries to self-load subclass detection now (which fails inexplicably for some people but works for most).

You are welcome. The highlight issue is a game issue that can't be helped. The relevant graphics file is in [yourUI]\images\icons and is called icon_transp1.dds, if you remove that you'll go back to the default UI effect graphics.

PS: I think there was an option to disable the the icon when ready-highlighting completely as well in case you want that, I would assume it was under the UI->hotbars category but you'll just have to find it.
