Quest Journal weirdness
 

This may not be directly related to the Profit UI, but since I haven't seen any posts about it elsewhere and the game is unplayable (at least for me) in Default, I figured to ask here.

Here's the situation, step by step:

1. Load EQ2. Everything's fine.
2. Open my quest journal (keyboard shortcut J) - Quest Helper window automatically closes.
3. Close quest journal (keyboard shortcut J) - Quest Helper Window still closed.
4. Press Alt-J to get my quest helper window back.

This happens consistently on each character. My key maps check out okay, and if it were a stuck key then I wouldn't be able to adventure normally... any clues? I haven't tried this with the default UI, but I will if I have to.

Have you checked the box to display quest helper? Its in the journal window

Yeah, that did it. Love it when options are added that change default behaviors. Thanks for the help.

actually the checkbox has been there for ages. Just I think SoE finally made it function like it should.

Yes, the check box has been there forever, Profit UI or not.

My problem is that the quest helper window goes away, even with the check box always checked. This seems to happen when I turn in quests (like the daily shard missions). Then I have to hit Alt-J to get it back. This happens on both my computer with Profit UI and my one without (as I'm still trying out Profit on my healer to see if I like it).
