Maps missing after GU53
 

Here's my problem: I was happily using ProfitUI and EQ2Maps before GU53. I had maps and POI's for most every zone. At least the outdoor ones, as that's where I tend to stay unless someone takes pity upon me and invites me into an instance.

Anyway, as most of you no doubt know, GU53 broke ProfitUI and I had to download the new shiny version. It installed fine, and everything works, but I didn't have a map I had before. Specifically, Jarsath Wastes. Others are missing, I'm sure. But this is the zone I'm currently working in, and I need my map!

So anyway... I hit up maps.eq2interface.com for the latest and greatest EQ2Map package, get the Auto-updating one, and after it's successfully updated EVERY file ... still no JW map. Am I missing something? Is there some super-secret cache of maps that I can get to fill out my collection?

If it's any help, my UI\ProfitUI\images\maps directory currently has 244 objects in it, totaling 37.5 MB. I have no idea what it was before GU53.

Any help or explanation would be most appreciated.

Dunno if I have like ancient, old files but my similar folder comes to 325 files/49.2mB

But isn't JW a default map?

Did the updater report ProfitUI as your ui on the front page ?
If not the path to the everquest2 folder is wrong, check it out.

I dunno what happened, but immediately after my OP I logged in and my maps were there. They look different, but at least I can see where I'm going again. Thanks for the replies. Happy gaming!

Also have problems, some zones I no longer have any PoI's on..
And in GH I need to open Map all the time to update the minimap (Not that I need minimap in GH, but its an example)..
This is all after GU53..

I have founf that if I open the main map and then close it that the mini-map comes up, so it seems that it is still there somewhere, just not sure what is going on. It is like a connection is missing. This is happening on default as well as on profit, as my second comp is running default settings.
