Ward of Elements
 

Several of us were in ward of elements last night and noticed the nice map you had for that zone is no longer displaying. Instead it was showing the lavastorm map with a few of the poi's from woe. Three days ago it was working fine and even a uninstall/reinstall did not correct it

I haven't really investigated it, but my gut feeling is that this is something SOE changed on the backend that isn't playing nice with the way EQ2MAP does dungeon (non-SOE) maps. I've noticed something similar quite a few times -- where the image of the last map is rescaled instead of the new map being shown.

Yea, seen this myself a number of times. Opening the mini map and normal map at the same time fixes it or does for me..

It fixed it for me, but I have friends who don't use the mini map, and they have completely lost their main maps, so I am not sure what is going on with them. With me, it is just annoying that I have to open the main map every time I zone if I want to see the right mini-map.

This is a SOE issue, not much we can do about it :(

I have had this problem frequently since the last update and not just in WOE. As the previous response said though, if you open the minimap quick then open the regular map, then the regular map will show up properly for the rest of the time you are inside that zone. I don't think it's just a WOE thing because I've seen the same thing in many other instances.
