Maps not working
 

I installed the auto updater, and it seemed to like the eq2 file, but when it scans for updates it doesn't find any and when I play EQ2 I don't have any maps.

I have my anti-virus turned off, I have my firewall turned off, i have the uac for bothe programs turned to max allowed.

Not sure what else to do , thanks.

OK, I downloaded and installed Profit UI just fine, and I deleted the maps from the eq2 ui file, and re-installed it.

This time maps downloaded and patched successfully, but I still don't have maps in game.

Any ideas?

When you run the updater make sure that UI Directory below the bars is set to profit ui , if its eq2map you probably has the wrong path set in options for everquest 2 folder.

Quest Turn ins wont display
 

Ive been using the Auto-Updater map add on and I dont think it is the add on since it broke midway through using it, but now, the blinking books that indicate a quest turn in point wont show up. Its pretty minor but Im trying to figure out if maybe its the UI mod or if its an option that i turned off in game at some point. Anyway, if anybody has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate your help with this, thanks in advance.

Delete all the skinnable files the eq2map2 folder and run the updater again.
