Trouble updating Maps
 

I have windows vista and since I installed it I have been having trouble running EQ2 map updater I run it and it doesn't update the maps in game. Has anyone out there had this same issue that can give me some pointers. I'm also having trouble with other EQ2 downloads.

Make sure you run it as an admin.

If it runs fine but nothing happens ingame , its set to the wrong folder, make sure the paths are right in Options.

What folder should it go in?

Right click your Everquest2 shortcut icon on desktop and select propertys, make sure that MAPUpdater Options / Everquest 2 has the same path as target path, else use the browse button to change it.

I have tried everything mentioned run as administator. I'm not exactly sure what target path is I saw target on properties but no target path. I didn't have any problems with updater or maps until i got windows vista and had to re-install EQ2. The map updater will appear to be running fine but it does not update maps in game. If anyone has anymore detailed info they can give me I would greatly appreciate it.
