has anyone else had the problem of their marketplace window not working with this ui? i can pull it up and i see the pictures of the items you can purchase but everything else is black. no buttons what so ever, not even a button to close the window. please some one tell me that im not the only one lol.

ran the updater recently?

yup i completely reinstalled the ui about 2 or 3 weeks ago and then ran the updater. still have the problem. been havin the same problem since i first started using it. :(

as i said before i reinstalled like 2-3 weeks ago. this problem was the reason for the reinstall. i was very carefull to follow all the instructions. i can reinstall again but i dont think this will help as i have deleted and reinstalled this ui 3 dif times. if it helps here is a screenshot of what im seeing.

Yes, I was having a similar problem but then I reread his instructions.

"What is a clean install?

A "clean install" is an install where you bring the UI back into an out of the box state. This involves removing your custom UI folder and your <server>_<charachter>_uisettings.xml files (as well as any old uisettings.ini files you may still have) before installing a new version."

I went back and discovered I had some <server>_<charachter>_uisettings.xml files in my cache folder. After deleting these (and checking just all my folders) I did another install and everything worked just fine.

Almost... the only problem I'm having now is every time I log in or zone into my guild I get an annoying loud Drum beat. Anyone have any suggestions? Also could someone post the code I can add to 'not' get the welcome window? Pretty please?

Not necessary, I know what the cause is and I posted the solution, but your screenshot illustrates nicely that I'm right by the non-ProfitUI components on it.

well thank you twyla i did not know that there was setting files in the cache folder and never thought to check there. as for the non-profit windows yes i run some non-profit windows but i had the marketplace problem before i put those in. thanks for the help guys. ill go try a "clean" install and see what happens.:D

the clean install worked and yall were right. everything works perfect now thanks again.
