the major question is:

do you already have any UI extensions (like eq2map etc)? If yes, what is the subfolder name in your .../Everquest2/UI/ directory?

depending on this info it will be much easier to help you.

also maybe you can post the content of your eq2.ini file (also in your eq2 directory)

Install Fetish/Nightfall UI. You will love it! There is an .exe file to set the cures for whatever tunes you have.
