how to modify fonts competely??
 

hi,all
now i want to modify the eq2's fonts,not only the chat fonts but also the system fonts like login screen and so on.
i try to translate eq2's ui into chinese and i find that the default fonts cannot show chinese characters.so i want to use 'Hei' to instead the default fonts.what files should i modify?i try to modify the eq2_fonts.xml and eq2_textstyle.xml,but it takes no effects.
could u give me some advices?

i have tried to fix the necessary xmls by myself before trying your patch,but it takes no effect.
then i have tried your patch and it still takes no effect.
i have already translated the eq2ui_loginscene.xml into chs,but the login screen can only show some non-understanding characters.

doublecheck your EQ2.ini and font settings, i'm pretty sure my Jade Project still works.

three years ago indeed i was having a chinese localization project for eq2 (and the project name is Jade exactly :D). but soon it really cost me too much time to maintenance this crap so i close this project very quickly then.

although i am not a translator,i have some knowledge on programming.i made the eqdkplus utf8 edition and some other projects.i think we can work together to build something interesting~
recently, i find eq2 was very interesting and ask my friends to play with me together.but they are so poor on eng.so i want to translate ui to make them play easier
