need/greed loot box
 

You guys have seriously got to fix this. If i'm typing in the chat window and the group box comes up it instantly hits greed because im hitting keys. It should not do anything with that box unless I click on it. Also I use the ENTER key to begin chatting, and if that box comes up and I hit enter, it immediately selects something, such as greed. This doesn't happen in the regular UI and I'm constantly rolling and not rolling on things because I'm used to it not doing that. Please fix! thanks!

This hat to do with the way windows grab focus and is not in the power of the UI designer to fix. (SOE broke it)

Actually if I'm not mistaken the Profit Loot window has been modded to hit Greed when the "Enter" key is pressed.

This is not standard behavior but is a VERY common tweak made by custom UIs.

Either rip out the custom loot window, mod it to remove all occurrences of "IsDefault", or get used to starting chat with the slash key.

Actually Zonx there is no custom loot window in ProfitUI, the window is transparently being modified. However, as most everything in ProfitUI that is optional and can easily be changed, see the FAQ.

Geesh, simply just change the file _ProfitUI_Settings_LootOptions.txt to the following.

Now was that so hard? :P
