Is there any way to check a part of a text

Say the text says 'dragowulf does x'

Is there a way to make a script only read the 'dragowulf does' part and become true even if x changes or is different? X is just a random variable.

COND=(Text=='dragowulf does...')

There is no way to extract text, or many things would be possible. In your case however maybe you can use the < operator?
