multiple addons

I am a bit lost here. I used the automatic install for EQ2Maps which works great. Now I am trying to install other addons but I am not sure what to do.

cl_ui_skinname EQ2MAPS
cl_ui_subdir UI/

That's how my .ini reads.

So in what directory do I put the other mods and how would I change the .ini? Any help steering me in the right direction will be greatly appreciated.

You can put any addon in the EQ2MAPS directory.
No need to change anything in the .ini file then.

That is exactly what I had to do. Works awesome!

Same subject

On my old comp I was using a complete set (DeadBeats) and it worked just fine. However I only had 1g RAM  so decided to treat myself to a new HP w/Windows Vista. Sooo I finally got into EQ2 and decided to to just customize because I was impressed with DrumsUI (wish that man would make a complete set and save me the headache I'm getting).

I guess I'm having a problem with the coding so any help will be greatly appreciated. I tried to add coding in but it seems only one of the lines is actually recognized.

My question is: should my eq2.ini look like this ?

cl_show_welcome_screen_on_startup 0
cl_ui_skinname EQ2MAPS
cl_ui_subdir UI/
cl_ui_skinname VanGurK_MapIcons
cl_ui_subdir UI/
cl_ui_skinname twylasui
cl_ui_subdir UI/

I have a feeling my problem has something to do with the /s

What should it look like? Can someone please help me with this? Pretty Please? :o

I saw jnil's post, it's why I posted.
Well Duh! Thanks for pointing that out. Guess I need sleep.
Thanks and sorry for taking up your time.

No problem. Btw if Landiin has his Henchman tool still available that would probably be perfect to install and manage many individual UI pieces like the DrumsUI. You should take a look at it.

Landiin 06-03-2009 02:22 PM

I took Henchman down:/ need to upgrade the map updater code and fix some bugs I let slide for to long. One day I'll get it going again, Im just covered up in RL these days.

gm9 06-03-2009 03:32 PM

Ah, I was afraid so since you took nearly everything down but since I remembered still seeing it in your sig I thought Henchman might still be there. Shame.

Landiin 06-03-2009 04:49 PM

Same no one utilized it or used it for that matter so didn't figure it would be missed :/

 ugh.. I always used it. <sob> I really do hope you fix Hench. I love it. It makes updating life soooo much easier. Specially when one uses bits and pieces from multiple ui's like me. :( Please, please fix it..
