Updater not starting
 

Your updater may not work from your shortcuts today. This is because I had to change its launcher file.
To fix this please visit http://updater.pala.de
Click "Launch", and in the updater itself use "Settings" -> "Updater" -> "Reset Shortcuts".

Just a heads up...

The autoupdater is throwing a fit on my system...Vista Ultimate x64 with the newest Java (Java 32bit)...

Exception thrown while getting base dir

java.sql.SQLException: Table not found in statement [SELECT value FROM Config]

Was getting a similar error message about setting language before...that seems to either have sorted itself out or been pre-empted by the above...

Uninstalled and reinstalled Java as well as the updater for fun...no change...

This means the database where the updater stores its settings is corrupted, as the table 'Config' is missing.
Most likely resetting it will fix this. Go to "Settings" -> "Updater" -> "Reset all settings". Obviously all your settings will be deleted.

Tried that before actually...that gives...

java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\Users\*******\AppData\Roaming\ProfitUI Reborn Updater\updater.data (The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open)

Any thoughts?

This would actually happen if the database is opened by another instance. Make sure there is no other thread of javaw.exe running before launching the updater (reboot usually helps).
Maybe it does not work because the updater crashes while accessing the database and so the process stays active even after closing the window. In that case do a reboot and delete the files in "%appdata%\ProfitUI Reborn Updater" manually. Maybe zip them up and send them to me before as it would be interesting what got messed up in them.

I was able to launch Profit UI with the link thank you. Though After I selected to reset the shortcuts they still will not launch properly and i get an Error message.

also when running the program from your link http://updater.pala.de know i get a unable to create a shortcut for profit Reborn Updater so the only way i can update it is by clicking on launch from the http://updater.pala.de
