Future of autoupdating ProfitUI Reborn
 

Hey,

since i don't want to steal that other topic I will give a short notice in here ;)

I will continue to host and support the auto updater, however I do not have the time to dive into UI scripting at the moment. So if anyone of you publishes patches or modifications, make sure you send me a notice so I can push those files live.
If anyone takes over the whole UI project do not hestiate to contact me so I can show you the right tools to provide auto updates.

Think someone needs to update it to work with newest version of java. Updater is no longer on my desktop since java update was downloaded.:(

There is information about this , instructions and a link on the 'other' thread to the patcher , re-download it and follow the instructions and all will be fine.

Is this why my auto-updater mysteriously stopped working this weekend? :eek:

well I for one haven't had a problem with the updater and see no reason to try and start a flame.

Hey, I'd like to know if it's possible to mod and update the quest window in the mod. Writ timers show up over top of quest text and I'm wondering if it's possible to make icons that show up in the quest window clickable.

What I'd like to do is make it so when on a writ and maybe on other quests it either goes to the recipe in the recipe book or at least inputs the text into the search window.

Is this feasible?

Recently Re-installed the updater after a format
 

I get the error message that the following file cannot be downloaded:
"UI\ProfitUI\images\backdrops\paladin.dds"

Any ideas?

File was broken. Must be like that for around a month :P

I noticed there was a guy that was going to work on this project yet call it profit catalyst?? will he be able to push his updates through the auto updater??? or will we have to go back to the stone age and delete and reinstall and move our updates ourselves?

Pretty sure he'll be able to as I just downloaded a bunch of them.
