FYI - Updating Java removed Updater Shortcut
 

As the subject implies... Java informed me there was an update available today after I had rebooted. I installed the update and the "Profit Reborn Updater" shortcut was automatically removed from my desktop in the process.

I re-ran the "Launch ProfitUI Reborn Updater.jnlp" file (it is the file we downloaded from this site to install the auto-updater) and then I went to "Settings|Updater|Reset Shortcuts" and it put the shortcut back.

No harm done, just thought you guys might want to be aware.

How do I get that file? Its not on my computer. Need help sorry idoit when comes to puters lol. Ok Guildy helped me thanks for letting us know.

If you lose shortcuts just go to http://updater.pala.de , run the updater and choose the settings mentioned above.
It is actually not a good, but known behaviour that java clears its cache on updates.
