Files not downloading

I am using ProfitUI updater and am getting an error message saying Some files could not be downloaded, please try again later. Did a re-install and same files were still not updating.
eg: UI\ProfitUI\_ProfitUI_Settings.xml
UI\ProfitUI\eq2ui_mainhud_groupmembers.xml
UI\ProfitUI\eq2ui_mainhud_raid.xml
UI\ProfitUI\eq2ui_mainhud_socials.xml
UI\ProfitUI\_ProfitUI_ControlCenter.xml
UI\ProfitUI\_ProfitUI_custom.xml

Is there something i can do to fix this?

I have tried uninstalling profit and done a clean install and the same 16 files are still not updating. Am i missing something?

Maybe you have a firewall/antivirus doing some content filtering? Updater was downloading those files just fine when I tried.

I made sure my firewalls were off and re-installed but still getting the message on the updater for the same files. All others are installing fine. Any other ideas on what i could try?

[deleted, too slow :P]

Make sure those files are non existant and not write protected. Then make sure your hard drive does not have any file system issues (run checkdisk e.g.)

Not really. Maybe try the reset all settings function from the updater menu just in case, but it really sounds like something on your end is blocking the downloads.

I am having same issues, off and on for several monthes now. It seems to work once in a while and for a week or two then I get the message that some of my files would not D/L please try again. Wifes computer on same home network does not have issues. We both use XP but she uses AVG anti Virus and I use Norton, that is the only difference between OS's that I know of.
