Java sometimes loses its cached files (e.g. when you install a new version). Just visit http://updater.pala.de to reinstall it

or when you use an old link, after Kaldran's last update to the updater it changed the URL to the cache on my system and my link to it stopped working (the copy of the start menu link I had made myself, the "official" link was updated correctly)

Thanks. GM9 that did the trick.

Problem for me, I dont HAVE an "official" link only a link in the main start menu(probably was the original link that I moved there)..

If you go start menu -> run and type
javaws -viewer
you can select the updater and click the third icon on top to recreate the links (or to remove the updater and reinstall it by going to http://updater.pala.de).
