Recommendations For a Newbie

I apologise if this is the wrong place to put this, it seemed the most suitable.

I recently transferred from WoW to EQ2, but whereas with the former most I knew IRL played the game. This meant I would be able to simply ask the following of them. With EQ2 none I know IRL play it.

So pose a request of you fine people; what AddOns/UI Mods would be a good place to start for a human paladin? Currently I have none installed so non-class specific additions would be appreciated too.

Also if it wouldn't be too much of a hindrance, would anybody be able to suggest good EQ2 sites/places to start?

Danny

The only mod I'd consider a must have is EQ2MAP which adds user created maps for zones which do not have official maps plus user submitted Points of Interest (POIs).

Other mods are personal preference. Maybe play a little with the default interface and only then look for mods so you can appreciate what they are about.

Oh and don't go asking for mods you had in WoW, if they don't exist already for EQ2 that's almost certainly because they can't be done. ;)

Thanks GM,

What's this 'Profit UI' I keep hearing about here and there?

If you refer to my sig you'll see. :) It's the most popular complete UI set but don't let that stop you from checking out some of the other fine mods here.

Just pay attention to the last update dates. SOE is changing the interface regularly and the older some mods are the less likely it is that they are still going to work.
