New inventory backgrounds
 

Is it possible either to lighten the new backgrounds for inventory spaces, or to return them to the old scheme? The new version is so dark that I have a hard time seeing many items.

meh I can't figure out what I broke (no change was intended). Is this with the files currently on the updater?

Yep. I updated yesterday, and suddenly the backgrounds of all my inventory spaces (backpacks included) were much darker than before.

After running the autoupdater I noticed the icon backgrounds in my inventory and bags were all much darker. (to be honest I think they look better this way, lol)

Hehe, what you were seeing are the default colors. After the latest patch yesterday to the updater it should however be pretty much impossible that you are still getting them. If you don't like the ProfitUI colors check the FAQ on how to modify them.
