Trying to launch, everything downloading to desktop
 

Ok I am not great with tech stuff so let me try to explain this the best I can.

I copied eq2 to my E drive so i could reformat and install new stuff. I copied it back to my c drive. Now when I try to launch with the patcher it starts dumping files onto my desktop. I know some file path must have to be changed but I'll be darned if I can find it.

Anybody know what I have to do to be able to patch? it doesnt happen if I log in bypassing the patcher...

Right click your shortcut and change the "Start in" folder.

And your shortcut is to c drive/program files/sony/everquest ii/eq2.exe or something else?

alternatively you can make a shortcut to your LaunchPad.exe with the parameter "/gamepatchpath:<YourPath>"
