Bad troubles useing eq2maps with new computer
 

Hello,
I have a new Vista based PC and I am having real trouble getting EQ2Maps to work. Once in game I can see the map but there are no POIs.

When I start the EQ2Map Updater I get the following messages....

Error reading EQ2.ini File
System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'C:\Program Files
(x86)\EQMAP Updater\eq2.ini' is denied

I Also get....

Failed to Save config file:
Access to the path 'C:\Program Files (x86)\EQMAP Updater\eq2map_config.cfg" is denied

What a mess! Any help would be appreciated.

You need to run it as Administrator.
