Journal Window Missing Info
 

Did a search on "quest journal" here and don't see anything else that quite addresses my problem. Hopefully, some kind soul here will tell me I have some setting wrong..lol

ISSUE: "Updates" section of quest journal not showing.

In the quest journal, under the text that describes what you are to do, there is normally a section that tracks your progress on the quest.

Example:

(Quest Text)

Stuff To Do

Kill Orcs 3/8
Get Lumber 10/10
Pickup Stones 0/10

(ok, hopefully that explains anyways - will post screeny if needed)

I am not seeing this list!!

TROUBLESHOOTING
1. I deleted the 2 profit journal entries and reloaded from updater - no change.

2. Deleted the 2 EQ2 entries AND the 2 profit entries - did NOT update profit - default took over, list was back and everything working.

3. Updater for profit again - entries missing again.

What am i missing here?

I have no idea, it should be there. Maybe check the ignore list on your updater, possibly you are ignoring another vital file that causes this?

I would try a fresh install of profit. That usually clears up any issues I have =)

Didn't think to look on ignored files list, thanks for the heads up!

The following files are being ignored (don't know why, I don't remember doing this..lol )

eq2.ini
UI\ProfitUI\_ProfitUI_Styles.xml

Was afraid to randomly changed them as I didn't know why they were on the list anyways - could these be the culprit?

very likely this the culprit, please remove it from the ignore list (this file is crucial, it needs to be up to date at all times). :)
