Back to the basics
 

I don't know about anyone else but I bought EQ1 the first day it came out. Now waaay back in those days I think the UI was best. I don't know if anyone remembers it but it was the most simple thing you could get with just black pentip frames and 50% opaqueness for the backdrop. If somebody could do something like that I would most appreciate it. All the flash and glamour of these new school ui's really distract me from the game as pretty as they are.

There's a screenshot of it. jsut a nice simple UI with no eye strains. Of course something would be altered like %'s of health and #'s ntm the experience bar should have the good ol .whatever equation because i am an oldschool grinder afterall lol.

The MookUI set I'm working on will be similar to that. Gold borders instead of black, though. Should be done by the time current Test version goes live.

One extra thing I would ask, because I'm a Guardian I have no use for it really and thats the 4 spell effect slots in the group window that show arcane/poison whatever. It really uses up far to much room when playing 1024x768 and serves me no purpose and probably no other class outside of priests. I only need to see my groupies health/power. :) you would be a godsend, and I can deal with gold borders. :cool:

I'll I can add in an extra version like that, if time permits.

(Mages need to see those as well, btw. :p)

Cureable spell effect icons removed. Frame is now a dark gray. Follow the standard installation procedure. Enjoy. :)
