How to stop mentoring without ungrouping
 

How can I stop mentoring someone when I am not in the same zone as them, without actually leaving the group? The standard UI permits this, but I can't see how to do it with Profit as the extended menu that appears when RMB on a group member IN THE SAME ZONE, disappears when not in the same zone.

Don't remember this being possible in standard UI. Right click menus are not alterable by UI modification.

right click on your own player window and Stop Mentoring

It is possible in the standard UI, because I asked a guldie who I was grouped with to do it prior to posting the question.

As for clicking on myself and unmentoring, the option is not there. All I see is

Window Settings
Lock Window

Any more ideas??

in the player window where you set afk/lfg/lfw you could right click that and select stop mentoring.

In the group window, right-click on the character you're mentored to and it'll have a "Stop mentoring" option. IIRC it'll only appear on the menu for that character, not any of the others.

Thank you sorinth, THAT is the answer. You can't click on the group window as several people said, because the option to unmentor disappears as soon as you are no longer in the same zone. I guess that most people were remembering the option as being there because most of the time it is there, because most of the time you are in the same zone as the person you are mentoring.

Anyway, problem solved, RMB on the AFK/LFW/LFG window and all is revealed.
