Aion-style UI Mod?

Would it be possible to make a UI similar to this? Or isnt it possible with EQ2's UI?

If it is possible, I would like to put in a request for it. No rush of course. ^.^

I don't see why not, it is a pretty minimalistic ui. Only thing I see that can't be done is the avatar pictures on the group window. Or maybe it can...sorta.

Anyone know if race detection can be done on the group members and a generic avatar image be displayed based on race/gender? Probably not, but just a thought =)

Can be done, /GameData.Group.Group_#.Race

So if someone made a set of generic portraits for each race/gender combo, I suppose that could be made into a group window or sorts. I haven't ever tried to make my own UI, I just modify the default one =P. Also, I am terrible with making graphics.

why so complicated, take SOE's graphics, they are already there for the character creation screen. ;)

Im a good photoshop artist... I just have no idea how to do all the UI coding and crap. I could make a UI panel like the one in the screenie... can the mini map EQ2 has now be made circular?

For the panel I would need to know dimensions, how should I save it, what format (.dds Im guessing)... and so on.:D
