A few questions
1) I know you can use the widescreen setting to put black bars at the top and bottom of the screen, but is there a way to add black space to the left and right sides instead?
2) Any way to make a single hotbar wider than 12 icons? 3) Any way to show more than 1 quest at a time in the quest window? Thanks! |
1) Could be done but it is not provided in ProfitUI.
2) No. 3) No. |
I gave a more thorough answer to your first question in the thread you started in HELP!?!?! Essentially, as far as I know, it could be faked by making two custom windows that were just black windows that you could position over the sides, but there was a command from EQ1 that actually performed this function better, known as the /viewport command. Check out your other thread (linked earlier) if you want an explanation of what it does.

Thanks Taraun, I saw that other reply you left.
I guess I'll need to fiddle around with that /view command, or try the black windows on the side thing. You're right, it would be great to have that old command from EQ1 that draws the gameplay view where you want it. I'm playing on a system with 3 monitors, and my goal is to have the game view itself on the center monitor, have my inventory bags open all the time on the left monitor, and the map (and other stuff) on the right monitor. In windowed mode, I can do this now...but I'm wasting viewspace that is behind these things on the left and right, and sometimes thing are going on there that I can't see. It would be awesome if I can get this to work! |

Run the ProfitUI Updater, read the update notes and do this: :p

Holy shmolies....that is awesome!!!
Gm9, you rock!!! This is exactly what I needed. I am in multi-monitor bliss now.:) Thanks! |
Glad you like it. You are lucky - I always prefer adding new goodies rather than fixing existing windows. :) Just note that this is really just an interface mod, it does not shift the center of the 3D world, SOE would need to implement that.
