GU 49: Guild hall window Amenities Tab
 

Did the UI receive an update for the new tab that is now available when accessing the guild hall player housing window? If not when can this be expected and in the interim should I just find the offending file and delete it? Right now I am unable to view and buy guild hall amenities.

Not sure if Profit actually modifies the guild window.

Yep broken for me too on 6 machines including 2 laptops that were just loaded today. Everytime I click it I crash.

Either the red line or delete the eq2ui_playerhousing.xml file from your ProfitUI folder. If you use the updater please read the changelog now and then :P

Actually good point, I kinda forgot I had that manual download around... :p

Cool it was the eq2ui_playerhousing.xml file that hosed me up. I still don't know how it got on the new laptops since they were clean installs including a full re-dl of the entire EQ2 package. :)

It got there because "someone" forgot to update the ui download package :P

The way the download figures on this site do not really increase much anymore suggests that the 3 remaining users of the manual download have already posted in this thread, so most people will never notice. :cool:

I feel left out.. I use the manual one when I use profit. So now the four remaining have posted:P

I'm having an idiot moment here, please forgive me, and if you can help, it would be greatly appreciated.

to start, I'm one of those people that has the very bad habit of not using my auto updater until I run across a problem that I need to fix. Well in preparation for our guild purchasing a guild hall this evening, I wanted to get a full update and go through and fix anything that needed fixed so that I was ready. When I ran the auto updater, I got a pop-up saying it was outdated and wanted to run an update for it. I clicked ok, it said it was updated and wanted me to restart my computer. I did. When I tried to then run the updater to update the UI it said it was out of date and I should check the forums and update it manually. However, I haven't seen any mention of this on the forums. I just wanted to make sure it was valid before I did this.

Thankyou again. I so love this UI and always reccommend it to folks who ask about UI's.

edited-- my apologies for taking up your time. i went ahead and did the manual install, aparently my java was the problem. i had to go through a big thing updating java before it would let me run the new patcher. that will teach me to double check everything /embarrased
