A really helpful tool for Mystic's and Defilers

So i just started playing a mystic and to be most effective, you really have to know the status of your ward (both time and amount left) at all times, so you are A. Not wasting your power by casting or restacking your wards, and B. how much time is left on them. Now point B is somewhat of a mute point as you can see the spell icon itself in your maintained spells window, however you do have to hover over if to view whos ward it is (if single target) and how much of the ward is remaining. What would be just simply amazing is if I could figure out a way to intergrate a ward bar, kind of like our health and power bar above or below each member of the group and or a seperate ward bar window. It would have to be an open ended bar though, as not every ward is the same amount and you would have to allow for crits etc. I think it should be possible I mean the numbers already exist, they are just not very comfortably accessible while needing to perform other important tasks.

I would gladly do this myself if I was able. I am very computer savy, just not much of a programer. I am however a fast learner and do scripting on occasion for work in .bat and .vbs format. Are there any recommended tutorials on completing such a project? I have access to most every development program out there.

Thanks in advance.

this already exists, though not in the format you propose. There are a few maintained effects windows on this site that will show ward remaining on top of the icon so you do not have to hover over it. As far as time to cast, id suggest ACT for timers, or just playing more so you get a rhythm down. For the window i like othesus' maintained because it comes with three different size icons to choose from and the largest one really stands out more in 1400x1050.

you're welcome :) Personally, i'd like to see a custom resizable window that shows wards, but apparently the data isnt available outside of the maintained window. Maybe SOE will give us some ui goodies with TSO
