LD = Bugged group window
 

Everytime I lose connection or LD when I come right back my group window is bugged. It only shows "Group Member" nothing else.

If I leave group then come back its fixed. Any ideas?

That will be a EQ2 bug not a UI bug. /bug it in game.

Well it doesnt do it with the default UI and I have done a fresh reinstall of this one 3 times. /shrug someones bugged :P

Being all the object in the group window are 99% hardcoded, yea its the UI.. Sorry my bad.

What ever that says in english is all good but its still doing it. Any suggestions.

He said that it's not the UI - the game client is controlling what is displayed in that window. If you are having the problem with Profit you will also be having it with the DefaultUI.

It happens in the default UI. i think that it just doesn't happen all the time. but not sure.

... there really needs to be a global UI "refresh" built in. Whatever code initially loads the UI needs to be incorporated into said function so that it may be used when the client goes LD, or executes a /load_ui.

hard to believe after all this time, something like reloading the UI is still the longest-standing problem. :(

Not the case though, the default UI does not have this error. If I go LD with the default UI it works just fine. Only way to fix it with Profit is to disband and regroup. Oh well.

It happens with default, Ive only had profit for a week or 2, and ive seen it few times when I had default.

Ok it probably does happen in the default UI as well as Profit but you'll only really see it occur while using Profit simply because Profit allows you to click accept while your character is still loading in.

Quite simply if you accept a group/raid invite while your character is still loading into the game the group window shows "Group Member" instead of class name etc etc. Although it does corect itself the next time you load into a new zone or for any other reason.

The fix is easy tbh, just wait until you're fully in game before you accept the group invite and away you go...no more problem :nana:
