maps still not changed..
 

I loaded and installed the launcher and all its stuff but I still have the same old crapy default map.

Help!!

You may have 2 installations of eq2, search for everquest2.exe and see if you find more than 1.
If thats the case change the settings on the Options window to the right path.

I only see one

Right click your desktop icon for eq2 and select propertys , check if the path is the same as in Options.

its not the same but under the options it wont let me edit the path.

Use the browse button next to the field to set the path.

Ive got this problem too, maps not showing in game when ive installed them. So i did a search for "everquest2.exe" on my hard disk and it didnt come up with anything.

There is a Everquest2.exe icon on my desktop but that has a path of

""C:\Program Files\Sony\Station\Station Launcher\LaunchPad.exe" --game EQ2"

Ahh its ok Ive sorted it

Even tho my game files are in "c:\games\Everquest 2", my exe file seems to be in "c:\program files\sony\everquest2", very odd. I changed it and the maps worked fine :)
