eq2.ini is already there.. so now what?
 

Hi I have heard from almost every player that ProfitUI rocks!! So I thought i would try it. I am following the instruction and I get the step about creating the ini file in the \Sony\EverQuestII folder.. and I am surprise to find there is already a document with the same name eq2.ini in that folder.. the lines read
cl_ui_skinname EQ2MAP
cl_ui_subdir UI/

so what next.. can I add the profit lines to this file? And yes I already have the Eq2map autoupdater installed and I am guessing this is part of that. So any thought would be greatly appreciated.. thanks... Divsaty

After installing profit, run eq2map updater and go to options, where it has ui sub directory, select profit. thats it, it'll automatically change the eq2.ini for you.

well I must have don't something else wrong
 

As you stated running the update did update the eq2.ini file. But Profit still doesn't load. So here a question about the folder structure that I may be missing.
C:\Program Files\Sony\Everquest II\UI\Profit\UI\ProfitUI\* did I create too many layers?

no, you did not follow the installation instructions (link in my sig). ;)

So I did something wrong
 

Well thanks for trying to help me. Not sure how to return the UI to it's "out of the box state" so I guess I will just leave well enough alone. I wish everyone the best of luck and I am sure your UI is great. Sorry I will not be able to see it. But thanks anyway.
