MapMaker:b1 early beta
This is an App I've been working on. What it does is takes a log file or a pasted section from a log file and parse all the LOCs to create a map image.
At the time it not very useful for multi level zones. I am working on slicing the the zones into multi levels. It will eather parse all LOCs or you can tell it to use built in tags so you can tell it to start a map, and to start and stop parsing locs. MapMaker tags; mapmaker::start::<key> MapMaker will start parseing. mapmaker::startline MapMaker will start gathering all loc. mapmaker::stopline MapMaker will stop gathering loc. mapmaker::stop::<key> MapMaker will stop parseing. <key> can be entered in the key edit box before opening a log. |
I tryed your tool on this file, diden't work :(

OH hmm. Yea haven't really put the paste form log code though much testing. I'll check it out, haven't really messed with this app much lately was just something I was toying with. If you try to map with via opening the file linked on that page it'll map it. Be sure to uncheck the use mapmaker tags.

I did open the log file.

That error means Landiin forgot about the rest of the world. Change your Windows regional settings to English (US) or change your decimal symbol from a , to a . manually and then try again. ;)
|
Missed this when you first posted it. Looks great from the screen shot, should be very helpful to mappers. I'll try it out once it gets fixed. :)

I'll have to check the compiler settings, it should take that into account. |
Here try this one out. It lets me parse that form the file or copied and pasted.
The split map on Z is still a bit buggy in this release. |
Still don't work here unless i change my region settings to US.
You should forse it to use US for number conversions :) |
the trouble is the values in the log file are in English US (2.22) so when I do StrToReal('2.22') it is throwing that error.
edit: looking into detecting regional settings. |
I've recoded this and well once I know how the new map system map images, zone rect, height and etc are going to work I'll put that version out for you guys to test it.
