Please help me folks!

Hello, I read faq and installation instructions for this mod but problem is:

The custom window appears but is not selectable, I cant move it or unlock it. I want it to act like any other window.

When I exit the game then log back-on the window is not there. I have to reinstall the ui mod every session.

Im sure theres an easy fix for this, I have extracted the files to EverQuest II\UI\Default. Please help this ui mod is perfect for my needs.

Thanks.

Edit: Also if anyone knows, is there a way to change the ui color? Im sick of the blue color

How to install a custom UI:
http://www.eq2interface.com/forums/f...q_new_faq_item

Set up your custom UI folder, your eq2.ini to point to that folder, and then you need to drop the 2 files from that Mod that you're trying to use.
The reason it keeps going away is because you're placing it in the Default UI folder. This get's patched every time you log in.

So I created a new folder called "custom" in the ui folder, plopped the ui mod files in there then created the eq2.ini file and everything works fine now :D

Thanks for the help.

Any idea on how to change ui colors?

This download category is for UI skins:
http://www.eq2interface.com/downloads/cat137.html

Though there are only a few for the default UI, and may be slightly out dated. You could see which files are changed, and maybe give it a go yourself.

There are some full UI's available out there that also change the skin of the UI, if that is in your interest.

I checked out that link you gave me and came across this mod which does what I want but not the right color. I copied and pasted the same files from my default folder to my custom ui folder that the mod uses and then used Gimp with the .dds plug-in to create my own color scheme, easy.

Im now a happy gnome:p
