Downloaded EQ2 mapper. I'm running Vista 64. This is the message I got after selecting the path for Everquest2.exe:

Any advice?

don't use Vista or learn how to deal with it's security features, e.g. protection of the program files folder? ;) (running eq2map as admin should help AFAIK)

Righ click on the icon you use to run the updater. Select Properties. Click on the Compatibility tab and check the "Run this as an administrator"

As a "security" feature, Vista stops unautherised programs from changing files in the /program files directory
